HelpFilm offers up to 6 charities the opportunity to make a free film to support and promote their cause (application deadline: 16th September 2024)

HelpFilm, a London-based charity (charity number 1189012) that produces high-end videos and animations and provide productions and editing services on beneficial terms for small to medium sized UK charities across a broad range of valuable causes, is currently offering small charities the chance to get a free film free of charge.

A total of 6 films are available. Charities must have an annual income of under £1 million to be eligible to apply.

The deadline for applications is Monday 16th September 2024. An online application form is available on the HelpFilm website.

The Charity uses creative and compelling storytelling – as a well told story will move an audience to think, reflect and then act – to enable those charities to further their purposes and achieve their goals.

HelpFilm is looking to help small charities that need and want a film, and do not already have an impressive film portfolio. They must also be clear on their mission and the benefits of having a film for their mission.

To enter, charities need to fill in the online form. If that is successful, they will be invited to meet with the Creative Engagement and Communications Manager to discuss the film idea and the charity in more depth. Following this, the decision will be made on whether to give the project the ‘green light’. The charity is then invited to another meeting with HelpFilm Founder and Creative Engagement and Communications Manager to discuss the details of the film, and to assign a relevant filmmaker.
