Climate Outreach, an Oxford-based organisation that plays an integral role in helping people of all ages, faiths, nationalities and sides of the political spectrum to understand climate change in ways that are relevant for them, is looking for 2 UK campaign, advocacy or community groups which are interested in engaging new audiences with climate change, and who could benefit from free consultancy and support.
Please note that the deadline for applications is at 9am today, Monday 14 February 2022, although Climate Outreach is at pains to point out that the application form is quick and easy to complete.
The free support could take the form of new research, staff training and workshops, or strategic and practical advice.
For this round of partnerships they are looking to focus on visual media and photography with one group, and on digital and social media with the other.
The Climate Engagement Lab provides free, time-limited support (usually for 2 months) to UK-based civil society organisations. In particular they are inviting applications from groups which are trying “to do something new or innovative for the sector as a whole”, showing how to engage meaningfully with new sections of the UK public on climate change.
Past partners have included:
o Parents for Future and Mothers Rise Up.
o The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change, and
o The Climate Coalition.
Further information is available on the Climate Outreach website.
