The World Food Day Poster Contest is open to children and youth between the ages of 5 and 19, living anywhere in the world. Minors must have the permission of their parents or legal guardians to participate in the Contest.
Participation is free of charge. The deadline for entries is Friday 7th November 2025 at 12:00 Central European Time (CET).
Young people are invited to use their skills to show how better foods create a better future – and how together we can build a peaceful, sustainable, prosperous, and food-secure world where everyone has access to a healthy diet. Posters should inspire action for a future we can build with people, communities, and nature.
Take a photo or scan your poster and submit your entry by filling out the form on the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations website. Three winners in each age category will be selected by a jury and announced on the website in December 2025. Winners will be promoted by FAO offices around the world and receive a certificate and surprise gift bag.
