Trustee vacancies at Stand Against Violence, a UK-wide charity dedicated to preventing youth violence (interested individuals may contact the charity at any time – there is no application deadline)

Stand Against Violence (SAV), a Taunton, Somerset-based registered charity that works across the UK, is currently seeking to recruit to its board of trustees.

Stand Against Violence was established following the tragic murder of 17-year-old Lloyd Fouracre in Taunton in 2005. Lloyd’s brother, Adam, founded the charity in 2011. Stand Against Violence works with young people to prevent youth violence. Its vision is to work in communities throughout the UK to give people a chance to live in a world without violence by delivering workshops to equip and inform young people on how to stay safe and Stand Against Violence. It also covers topics including bullying, substance misuse, personal safety, first aid and emotional resilience for primary ages.

We would be grateful if you could share details of SAV’s trustee vacancies with anyone in your networks who may be interested in finding out more or applying.

The charity is happy to be contacted at any time and is keen to recruit at least one further trustee as soon as possible.

With many thanks to Aimee McKean, Operations Manager at Stand Against Violence, for asking us to circulate details. The trustee advert reads:
