Trustee opportunity: Exeter-based arts education organisation, Daisi, seeks new Board members (initial deadline: Friday 23 April 2021)

Daisi, a not-for-profit arts education organisation which creates and promotes inspiring artistic and cultural experiences that enable more children and young people to access the transformative and inclusive power of the arts, is currently seeking to recruit a number of new Board members.

Many thanks to Cath Burnett, Administrator at Daisi, for asking us to circulate information about this opportunity. Please forward details to anyone in your network(s) who may be interested in finding more or applying.

Daisi’s advertisement reads:

Daisi is looking for new Board members, up to 5 positions available.

“Are you interested in joining the Daisi team as a trustee? Or do you know someone who might like to get involved?  If so, we would very much like to hear from you.

“Trustees are central to the success of Daisi, being responsible for the overall direction, strategy and vision of the charity.  This is a voluntary position, and we would ask you to join us for a minimum of 4 meetings a year with some additional commitment to working with the Daisi staff and trustees through working groups and/or informal conversations.

“If you would like to find out more about the positions available, please download our trustee pack to find out how you can get involved and contact our Administrator Cath via email in the first instance, including a telephone number.  The next step will be an informal conversation with one of our Board members or our Director, Liz Hill, and an invitation to observe a Board meeting.

“We look forward to hearing from you.  Please do get in touch if you have any questions, we are always happy to talk.

“If you are interested in these positions we would very much like to hear from you, preferably by Friday 23 April 2021. Please contact our Administrator Cath via email in the first instance at admin@daisi.org.uk, including a telephone number.”
