The Cares Family has just launched its second cohort of “The Multiplier“, a programme to invest in, support, and connect leaders bringing people together in their communities.
The charity is looking for 10 leaders to be part of 9 workshops over 8 months (some online, some face-to-face) to help them to adapt, grow and multiply their initiatives as well as to deepen and broaden their impact.
Successful applicants will also receive a £7,000 grant and coaching, and introductions to new networks.
The closing date for applications to The Multiplier is Sunday 23 January at 23.59. Anyone interested in finding out more can also join an Information Session at on Friday 14 January from 12pm to 1pm.
Since it launched in 2011, The Cares Family has built five local charities to help tackle loneliness and bring people together: North London Cares, South London Cares, Manchester Cares, Liverpool Cares and East London Cares.
It launched national project The Multiplier last January to help deepen its impact by providing an opportunity for local leaders to adapt, grow and multiply their initiatives that also have this aim. Over five years, The Multiplier will invest in 50 people building bridges in their communities.
