Farmers, horticulturalists, forestry owners and contractors carrying out services to farmers, horticulturalists or forestry owners in England can apply to the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund 2025 for grants to help buy equipment or technology to:
o Improve productivity.
o Manage slurry, and
o Improve animal health and welfare.
Grants of between £1,000 and £25,000 are available for each grant theme.
Applications to the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund can be made using the Farming Investment Fund service between Thursday 29th May and midday (12 noon) on Thursday 10th July 2025.
This is the only application window for the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund in 2025.
Please note that the Animal Health and Welfare grant is only available for eligible applicants that farm any of the following:
o Beef cattle.
o Dairy cattle.
o Sheep.
o Pigs.
o Laying chickens (including rearing and breeding farms), and
o Broiler chickens (including rearing and breeding farms).
