The Crediton Heart Project: A Call for New Trustees and Associates

“The Crediton Heart Project was set up in 2018 to enhance the cultural and community life for people in the Crediton area. Since then we have developed a lively website and social media channels for promoting current activities and delivered a range of new events to support the creative arts, while working to establish a new multi-use arts and community hub.

“At the end of 2023 we took the bold decision to merge with Crediton Town Team to create a single, more effective, charity working to make our town a great place to live.  We now need more people to help shape and achieve our vision – for new activities, new partnerships and a new hub.

“Do you want to be part of this?  We are particularly looking for people with experience and skills in:

o Fundraising.
o Communications, especially website and social media management.
o Developing music and arts events for the town.
o developing community buildings and facilities.

“We need a small number of trustees to join the board, with responsibilities for the charity. We’re also keen to recruit a wider number of associates, not as board members but with specific skills to support our various projects.

“We’re looking for people with enough time and energy to help us devise a new vision and meet the aims of the organisation. All roles are unpaid, though reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

“To find out more about these roles please contact our Chair, Rosemary Stephenson, to arrange an initial chat by emailing rosemary@creditonheart.org.”
