The Black Beauty Grant Programme is a 7-week programme designed to support Black women-owned beauty founders across the UK in kick-starting new creative projects.
Created by Black Girl Fest Studios and powered by Glossier this programme will support founders eager to host their first pop-up event, launch a new product or produce a killer brand campaign.
The deadline for applications is Friday 16th May 2025 at 23:59 GMT. Successful applicants will be notified in the week commencing Monday 26th May 2025.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
o Founded by a Black woman or identify as non-binary (non-binary is an umbrella term for individuals whose gender identity doesn’t fit neatly into the traditional categories of male or female).
o Must have a physical beauty product and be actively selling.
o Aged 18 or over
o Based in the UK (registered in the UK and have a UK business bank account).
o A revenue cap of £50,000 or less in net sales per year, and
o Self funded and has not received Venture Capital (VC) or angel investment.
The programme commences on Thursday 5th June 2025 . All workshops will take place online in the evenings with social events occurring in London.
The programme consists of:
o Launch Event.
o How to host a beauty pop-up event.
o Create a winning social media campaign.
o Launch a new product.
o Beyond Beauty: Social Responsibility, and a
o Graduation Showcase.

Please note that applicants will be required to upload a pitch deck as part of the application form (a pitch deck is a concise presentation, typically using tools such as PowerPoint or Keynote, that outlines a business’s plan and value proposition to potential investors. It’s designed to provide a quick and compelling overview of a company or idea to secure investment, partnerships, or other opportunities).
