The Big Give to launch Women’s and Girls Match Fund Campaign on Monday 13 December 2021 (application deadline: 11 January 2022)

The Big Give, a registered charity (no. 1136547) which specialises in bringing charities, philanthropists and the public together to multiply their impact, has announced that it will launch a Women and Girls Match Fund campaign on Monday 13 December 2021.

The new match funding campaign will support charities that improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls in England and Scotland. 

Applications to participate in The Big Give’s Women & Girls Match Fund will open on Monday 13 December 2021, and remain open until Tuesday 11 January.  A webinar for interested charities is scheduled for 12pm on Tuesday 14 December, which will also be recorded and shared on the Big Give’s YouTube channel afterwards.

All public donations made to participating charities via theBigGive.org.uk during the week of the campaign (8 – 15 March 2022) will be matched by DCMS’s Tampon Tax Fund until each organisation’s ring-fenced match funding award of either £2,500, £10,000 or £25,000 is used up.

Led by The Big Give, which also runs The Big Give Christmas Challenge and other match funding campaigns, it is supported by women and girls grant-making charity Rosa, which funds grassroots women’s organisations working to make the UK a fairer, safer place for women and girls.

Participating charities will access:

o Up to £25,000 worth of match funding, provided by the DCMS Tampon Tax Fund.
o I.G. Advisors’ digital fundraising expertise and support for match funding success, and
o A £375 grant to spend on digital capacity building for their organisation.
