“Reflect, Recover, Renew!” – Somerset organisations invited to take part in an online survey on how they have adapted and responded during the COVID-19 pandemic

Large and small voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across Somerset are invited to take part in a short online survey on how they have adapted and responded during COVID-19 pandemic. If you’re a Somerset based VCSE, this joint project from Spark Somerset, Somerset Community Foundation and Somerset County Council would really welcome hearing your views on how the coronavirus pandemic has affected your organisation and the services it provides. Please forward details and the survey link to anyone in your networks who may be interested in sharing their experiences of COVID. Many thanks to Amelia Norton, Funding Officer at Spark Somerset, for asking us to share details.

The media release reads:

“REFLECT, RECOVER, RENEW!”

“Working together to create a Roadmap to Recovery for Somerset Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.”

Spark Somerset, Somerset Community Foundation and Somerset County Council are working in partnership with public, community and voluntary sector organisations across the county to deliver an important new research project.

“With your help, they want to look back on what has happened during the past 18 months and more importantly, focus on what we need to do as a sector to reflect, recover and renew.

“Please get involved! Initially, they are inviting VCSE organisations, large and small, from across Somerset to take part in an online survey. It will only take around 10 minutes to complete and your answers will provide valuable insight into the voluntary and community sector in Somerset, how it has adapted and survived during the pandemic, and crucially, what it needs to develop and grow.

“You can take part in the survey here:

“In addition, Spark Somerset will be hosting a series of online focus groups and events in the coming weeks to give you the opportunity to share your thoughts, ideas and opinions. Dates are to be confirmed, so keep an eye on the Spark website, where the details will be shared as soon as they become available.”
