Open Day at Brisons Veor, a residential artists’ studio set in a dramatic location in the far west of Cornwall (Sunday 28th April 2024, 11am-4pm, free to attend)

Brisons Veor, a charity and residential artists’ studio set in a stunning location at Cape Cornwall, in the far west of the county, is holding an Open Day on Sunday 28th April 2024 from 11am to 4pm.

The Brisons Veor Artist Residency aims to provide support for creatives facing challenging circumstances, by recognising the diverse obstacles that artists may encounter, from financial struggles and health issues to full-time caregiving responsibilities or the lack of adequate studio space. It offers affordable live/work space, ensuring artists have an environment where they can focus on their projects.

The Open Day is free to attend, but please let Brisons Veor know if you’re planning to go along by emailing admin@brisonsveor.org.uk.

Many thanks to the artist and Brisons Veor trustee, Charlotte Turner, for sending in details. Apart from being an amazing artist in her own right, Charlotte is the designer of the Boniface Panels in Crediton, Devon and artist-in-chief for the Crediton Flags Project, which Rosemary Stephenson, Chair of the Crediton Heart Project, and others have organised for the last 10 years.
