Movement for Good Awards: Animals and Wildlife Special Draw Programme ( nomination window open from 17th – 23rd February 2025)

The Benefact Group has launched the Movement for Good Awards: Animals and Wildlife Special Draw Programme to support the work that many charities do to support animals and wildlife in need.

Registered charities, not-for-profit organisations and Community Interest Companies in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man can be nominated up to Sunday 23rd February 2025.

Ten winning charities will be drawn to win £5,000 each during the week beginning Monday 24th February 2025 and announced on Friday 28th February 2025.

This special draw is open to charities whose core charitable purpose is the advancement of animal and wildlife welfare, including the prevention or suppression of cruelty to animals and wildlife, or the prevention or relief of suffering by animals and wildlife.

If the charity you want to nominate has another core purpose, it’s not eligible for this draw. You can, however, enter them in the main draw.

To supporting your favourite charity, simply fill in the short nomination form to get them into the draw to win a £5,000 grant. The more nominations a charity gets, the greater their chances of winning. You can nominate as many charities as you like – it’s one nomination per charity per person.

An “Eligible Charity” is any charity which:

o has been in existence for at least six months;
o is registered with one of the following: the Charity Commission for England and Wales, the Jersey Charity Commissioner or the Guernsey Registry as applicable in respect of the Channel Islands, or the Central Registry in respect of the Isle of Man, the Charity Commission in Northern Ireland, the Charities Regulator for the Republic of Ireland; and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

Further information, including a link to nominate a charitable group, is available on the Benefact Trust website.
