Leathersellers’ Company Small Grants Programme reopens to applications today

The Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund Small Grants programme,
which has reopened to applications today. Monday 5th February 2024, 
is a fast-track application scheme for one-off grants up to £5,000 for
UK registered charities that meet the following criteria.

o Are currently supporting vulnerable people.
o Are open and transparent about their work and finances.
o Are working in geographical areas of high deprivation
(charities interested in applying should refer to the Indices
of Multiple Deprivation).
o Are working in partnership with others.
o Have an annual income under £200,000, and
o Provide good value for money.

Please note that applications are accepted on a ‘first-come’ basis and
that each application round (see below) closes once 45 applications have been received.

The Charity particularly welcomes applications supporting
the use of leather within the footwear, fashion and other
industries, education in leather technology and the leather trade.

Funding is not available for:

o Capital restoration projects.
o Community Interest Companies (CICs).
o Hospices, or for
o Medical research.
