Headlight Manager

o Workbase: Cranbrook, Devon.
o Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week).
o Salary: £28,324 FTE (actual salary: £22,965 per annum).

“We are seeking an inspirational Manager to lead our Headlight service which provides support to young people (aged 13-24) who are experiencing mental health issues.

“Headlight is a well-established service currently providing peer support sessions and one to one support to young people in Axminster, Ottery, and Sidmouth. As well our established services we have also been involved with projects in Honiton and Cranbrook and are keen to develop our work in other areas of East Devon.

“We are looking for someone with management experience and experience of working with young people who are having issues with their well-being. You will also need to have an understanding of the causes and effects of mental ill-health on young people; a commitment to person-centred approaches; and experience of project management, including managing budgets.

“You will lead a small team of committed and dedicated staff, enabling them to support young people through the use of best possible practices and with a solution-focused positive approach. As a project manager you will also have a role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Trustees to develop the organisation.
