Job Vacancy: Re:work, a charity supporting disadvantaged young people in the Knowle West area of Bristol, is currently seeking a part-time Fundraiser (application deadline: 11 January 2021)

Many thanks to Gemma Skuse for asking us to advertise the following vacancy for a Fundraiser.

Re:work is a registered charity situated in Knowle West, Bristol – an area of multiple deprivation classified as within the most deprived 10% areas in the country.

Since 1999, when Re:work was established by a small group of local people, the charity has supported young offenders and young people aged 12-18 who are excluded from school or at risk of exclusion. It also works with young adults aged 18-25 in long term unemployment. The charity’s aim is to raise aspiration, to support and encourage integration with the local community and to ensure opportunities for employment and a brighter future for young people who would otherwise have very poor prospects.

Re:work is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Fundraiser with capacity to work part-time for the charity. The successful candidate will play a key role in marketing Re:work and raising vital funds for its work. Enthusiasm, attention to detail and a passion for young people to reach their potential is essential.
