o Salary:  Dependent on Experience (Guide 28k – 30k).
o Location: Home-based but will be required to travel to Axminster/Newton Abbot for team meetings and training and occasionally to clients who are based in the Southwest, and further afield
o Hours and contract:  This is a permanent, full-time contract. 30 hours per week, Mon to Thur with some requirements for Fridays occasionally.

“We are very excited to announce that we are growing our team, and seeking a dedicated Trust Fundraising Officer to help us achieve our mission: 

“‘Nurturing and empowering charities and social enterprises to grow and thrive through the delivery of professional, high-quality consultancy services and products.’

“As Trust Fundraising Officer you will work with the Managing Director and wider team to develop high-quality, successful funding applications for a variety of charity and social enterprise clients. 

“Marsha Miles Consultancy (MMC) is a small, Devon-based consultancy with a well-established service offer, a solid client base, and a small team of employed and self-employed staff.  The organisation provides the following services:

1. Fundraising – through Trust and Foundation bid writing services.
2. Strategic support – business planning, evaluation, and other bespoke solutions.
3. Training – face to face, online, and through the development of an online training portal.
4. Coaching – one-to-one leadership coaching and mentoring.

“The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and experience of fundraising within the charity sector, including building and managing relationships with a range of clients and other stakeholders.  They will work well as part of a small supportive team, have strong written communication skills, good IT skills, and will work methodically with a high degree of accuracy.

“You will be part of a team whose work is helping to ensure the continuation, success, and growing impact of charities and social enterprises in the UK. We are looking for someone who is committed to the ethos of MMC, with a passion for helping to make the world a better, fairer place.

“Our chosen candidate will hold a certificate or diploma in fundraising and will be able to demonstrate a solid track record of raising funds from trusts and foundations.
