Finance and Office Administrator

Torbay Community Development Trust is seeking to recruit a Finance and Office Administrator (scroll down to the bottom of the page) to support the Finance Manager in ensuring smooth running of administrative systems and maintaining financial records.

This full time, permanent role requires someone with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, who enjoys problem solving and has a cool head under pressure. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have excellent communication and team working skills and knowledge of ledgers and accounting principles.

o Position: Finance and Office Administrator.
o Location: Home based.
o Job Type: Full time, permanent.
o Hours: 37.5 Hours per week to be worked flexibility , some evening work is required.
o Holiday entitlement:  25 days per annum, plus designated bank holidays.
o Salary: £19,500 per annum.
o Closing date: Friday 19th February 2021.
o Interview date: Wednesday 3rd March 2021.
o Start date: ASAP. 

Responsibilities:  

o Be a first point of contact for Torbay Community Development Trust (TCDT) and Ageing Well Torbay Programme (AWT). 
o Ensure smooth running of Administrative systems of TCDT and AWT. 
o  Assist Finance Manager with daily financial transactions in Xero and Excel. 
o Support data collection, verification, inputting and maintenance of information systems, where appropriate.
o Support the AWT team with the organisation and facilitation of events. 
o Assist in Annual Audit, and
o Any other duties as required

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
o Excellent Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
o Ability to meet deadlines.
o Attention to detail.
o Able to demonstrate professionalism and the ability to manage work relationships in a respectful and courteous manner , and a
o Willingness to take on new challenges and assist the team with any other duties.

You may have work or education experience of the following: Office Administrator, Finance Administrator, Bookkeeper, AAT or part AAT qualified preferable.
