Devon Development Education (DDE), a charity based in Exeter, has been working with schools and communities in Devon for over 20 years. The charity aims to help children and people of all ages understand the big issues in the world and their involvement in them, make links with the ‘global village’ within and outside Devon, and work together for a more just and sustainable world.
DDE is currently seeking to recruit a Coordinator to lead its work on global education. “DDE is looking for a new coordinator to lead our work on global education, working with our
enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers. Are you interested in joining us?
“DDE has worked across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay for more than 20 years, enabling children
and adults to learn more about the world around them and see themselves as global citizens.
“We work in schools and communities to create opportunities for people to learn about countries and
cultures outside their own experience. We undertake anti-racism work in schools and provide
organisations with consultancy on equality, diversity and inclusion.
“Working 15 hours per week, the Coordinator will have oversight of DDE’s day-to-day operations
and fundraise to ensure that we can support our work going forward.
