St. Petrock’s, Exeter’s charity for people who are homeless or vulnerably housed, which has been providing a range of support, housing and prevention services to help fill the gaps in services available to individuals in need for over 25 years, is currently seeking to recruit a part-time (14 hours per week) Core Services Officer.

“JOB OPPORTUNITY – CORE SERVICES OFFICER
o Part time: 14 hours/week.
o Salary: £18,000 – 20,000 per annum pro rata (£7,200 – £8,000).
o Permanent contract.

“We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active individual to form part of our Core Services Team which provides the essential financial, administrative and other functions that enable the effective delivery of our vital services to homeless people in Exeter.
“The successful applicant will be committed to the mission and values of St Petrock’s, and will have
very good financial, organisational, communication, IT and interpersonal skills. They will also
understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
“The successful applicant will be adaptable and flexible, capable of working both on their own initiative and enjoy the variety and challenge of working as part of a team within a busy charity.
“Normal working hours for this post are 14 hours per week, to be worked during core hours over 2
days, with some flexibility to meet the needs of both parties.
“The role will be based primarily in St Petrock’s office, close to the centre of Exeter, but may also require some home-working.
