Involve – Voluntary Action in Mid Devon, Mid Devon’s Council for Voluntary Service, which promotes voluntary and community action across the district by supporting charitable organisations, volunteering and community projects, is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Community Development Officer.
This is a part-time position, comprising of 14 hours over two or three days with a full-time equivalent salary of £28,000.
The main functions of the job are:
o To manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the CVS community development activities to support the voluntary and not for profit sector in Mid Devon.
o To support voluntary and community organisations to build their capacity through an asset-based community development approach, and
o To co-ordinate community development activities at a local town level
based on grass roots engagement and identification of need.
