Job Opportunity: Headway Somerset is currently seeking to recruit a full-time Chief Executive (salary: up to £43k per annum) (application deadline: 17 April 2023)

Headway Somerset, a Taunton-based charity that supports individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI),  their families and supporters , is currently seeking to recruit a full-time (c.35 hours per week) Chief Executive Officer.

Acquired brain injury (ABI) includes trauma such as a blow to the head from assault or accident, strokes, haemorrhage, aneurysms, tumour, meningitis/encephalitis and oxygen deprivation.

“You will be directly responsible for the management of the charity including leading the staff team, delivering and strengthening existing services and developing new services in line with the strategic aims of the organisation. The CEO will be the principal spokesperson for the charity, demonstrating integrity and commitment to all stakeholders, partner organisations and funders to ensure the best outcomes for people living with acquired brain injury in Somerset.

“You will be joining at an exciting time as Headway Somerset works together with our partners in health and social care and people with lived experience of acquired brain injury to influence the pathway re-design for neurorehabilitation and longer-term support.
