Job Opportunity: Head of Grants at Devon Community Foundation, permanent position, 4 days per week, annual salary £40,000 (pro rata to 4 days per week), hybrid working (deadline for submission of CVs: midnight on Sunday 25th June 2023)

Devon Community Foundation is currently seeking to recruit to the post of Head of Grants.

This is a permanent position with a 4 day working week. The annual salary of £40,000 will be pro-rata to 4 days per week. 

This is a hybrid post which can be worked at a combination of the Foundation’s offices in Tiverton, Devon and remotely.

The Head of Grants will report directly to Devon Community Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer and work collaboratively with the wider team and partners to progress our vision of a fairer and more sustainable future.

A strategic role, this person will lead the development and delivery of a grants strategy to increase the impact of the Foundation’s funding and enhance its grants design and delivery systems and services.

This post plays a critical role in bringing this commitment to life while looking at the whole grant-making journey, providing an exceptional service to those who apply to us and those we fund.

The successful applicant will also provide effective leadership and management of the Foundation’s grant programmes and schemes and play an important role as a member of the Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic direction and effectiveness of the Foundation.
