The job advertisement reads:
Fundraising Manager, Spark Somerset
o Location – Home and Community based in Somerset.
o Full-time, permanent post working 37.5 hours per week (although flexible working or part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate). The salary is £31k-£33k pa depending on experience.
“We’re seeking a dynamic self-starter with demonstrable experience of successful fundraising and bid writing to lead our Funding Support Service and develop partnership working and cross-sector collaboration across the county.
“Working alongside the Funding Officer and Voluntary Sector Advice Team, the post holder will provide high-quality, tailored funding support voluntary and community sector organisations, helping increase their capacity and advising around issues of organisational development and financial sustainability.
“The post holder will also promote our services and develop partnerships with relevant stakeholders, encouraging collaborative working across the voluntary and statutory sectors to achieve a more strategic and joined-up approach to bringing funding into Somerset.
“Through their work in the community, they will also support the CEO in identifying and applying for new income streams or opportunities for development for Spark Somerset.
