Spark Somerset, a charity providing information, advice, training and support to the voluntary and community sector in Somerset, is currently seeking to recruit a Partnerships and Engagement Lead. “JOB OPPORTUNITY: Full-time Partnerships and Engagement Lead at Spark Somerset
This varied role will require focus, creativity and independent thinking and has a strong focus on strategic engagement, working with colleagues from across the Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise (VCSE) and public sectors.
The post holder will drive our partnership and engagement work, supporting collaboration across the VCSE sector, and between the VCSE and other stakeholders. Working alongside Spark’s Chief Executive and Senior Leadership team, they will build strong relationships between Spark Somerset, the VCSE and other ‘system’ partners, including the local authority, the Clinical Commissioning Group, the NHS and Public Health.
The post holder will also lead on the development and coordination of numerous health-related engagement projects, including the Somerset Mental Health Engagement Forum, and line manage two Social Prescribing Coordinators.
This is a full-time post, working 37.5 hours per week, although flexible working or part time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The salary is £30k-£32k per annum (depending on experience).
