Job Opportunity: Devon Development Education seeks a Project Co-ordinator (part-time, 2.5 days per week, £33,800 per annum pro rata) for a heritage project in Ilfracombe and Honiton (application deadline: 2 June 2023)

Congratulations to Devon Development Education (DDE), an Exeter-based charity working with children and people of all ages understand the big issues in the world and make links with the ‘global village’, for securing a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. 

The grant will fund  a new chapter in DDE’s ‘Telling Our Stories, Finding Our Roots. Devon’s Multi-Cultural History – in Ilfracombe and Honiton“.  

The charity is now seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator (see ‘Announcements’ in the right-hand column) for this exciting 18 month project. This is a part-time, 2,5 days per week post with a salary of £33,800 per annum pro rata. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 2nd June 2023.

JOB OPPORTUNITY – PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR POST FOR “TELLING OUR STORIES, FINDING OUR ROOTS, DEVON’S MULTI-CULTURAL HISTORY – IN ILFRACOMBE AND HONITON”

“This project focuses on Ilfracombe and Honiton, and takes forward the earlier Telling
Our Stories projects in Exeter and three Devon towns  It is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

“The Project Co-ordinator will be based at the DDE’s office in Exeter, with the Project
Admin Assistant. A Community Heritage Co-ordinator will be appointed to work in
Honiton and Ilfracombe.

“This post will suit someone with project management experience and a keen interest
in local, multi-cultural history.

This post is 2.5 days per week, over 18 months.

The salary is £33,800 pa pro rata (working 2.5 days per week).
