“We’re looking for someone with plenty of project management experience and a good working knowledge of the mental health sector. By engaging with VCSE organisations and other community partners, the post holder will focus on addressing inequalities of access to mental health support and promoting the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ across under-served communities in Somerset.

“You’ll lead on the effective delivery of the project, using local intelligence and data to focus on particular communities where we are seeing the greatest need for mental health support. In addition, you will manage a small team of engagement workers, driving forward the project and ensuring alignment with the wider OPEN MENTAL HEALTH model.

This includes people from Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority backgrounds, people with a disability, people who are LGBT+ and people who are from the neuro diverse community.

“This is a full-time post, working 37.5 (flexible) hours per week on fixed term contract until March 2024 (with the option to extend if further funding can be obtained). The salary is £30-32k depending on experience.
