Spark Somerset, an infrastructure organisation providing information, advice, training and support to the voluntary and community sector across Somerset, are seeking an experienced community engagement/development professional to lead an exciting new ‘Under-served Communities Project’ within Open Mental Health. “We’re seeking an experienced community engagement/development professional to lead an exciting new ‘Under-served Communities Project’ within Open Mental Health
“We’re looking for someone with plenty of project management experience and a good working knowledge of the mental health sector. By engaging with VCSE organisations and other community partners, the post holder will focus on addressing inequalities of access to mental health support and promoting the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ across under-served communities in Somerset.
“You’ll lead on the effective delivery of the project, using local intelligence and data to focus on particular communities where we are seeing the greatest need for mental health support. In addition, you will manage a small team of engagement workers, driving forward the project and ensuring alignment with the wider OPEN MENTAL HEALTH model.
