Job Opportunity: Comms and Marketing Coordinator (16 hours per week) at the Birch Collective, Bristol (application deadline: Tuesday 30th April 2024)

The Birch Collective, a Bristol-based social enterprise that was founded in response to the sense of acute isolation many people were experiencing whilst social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, is currently seeking to recruit a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join its team.

The Birch Collective was established on the basis that the isolation people were experiencing during COVID could be combatted effectively via the development of connections with the natural world, and spending time in a community of people with a shared interest in being outdoors and learning a range of practical skills, from traditional craft and handwork to ecologically sensitive food growing and conservation techniques.

The role of the Comms and Marketing Coordinator will be help build the Birch Collective’s brand, enabling a move to increased traded income via workshops and services for youth work and mental health organisations. 

This is a part-time (16 hours (2 days) per week, with the possibility of additional hours occasionally).

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 30th April 2024 at 5pm. 

A ‘Drop in Hour’ has been arranged for Thursday 18th April 2024 from 5.15pm to 6.15pm in order that prospective applicants can meet the Birch Collective’s team for an informal chat.

£141/ day (PAYE salaried employment including paid holidays, NI contributions & optional pension contribution via the NEST scheme. We are also open to employing someone self employed)
