Headway Somerset, a Taunton-based registered charity that supports individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) and their families, is seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Acquired brain injury (ABI) includes trauma such as a blow to the head from assault or accident, strokes, haemorrhage, aneurysms, tumour, meningitis/encephalitis and oxygen deprivation. In Somerset every year, about 3,000 people have a hospital admission due to ABI.
This job opportunity is full-time, 35 hours per week and has a full-time equivalent annual salary of up to £43,000. The deadline for applications is Thursday 8th June 2023, with interviews scheduled for Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June in Taunton.

The CEO will be the principal spokesperson for the charity, demonstrating integrity and commitment to all stakeholders, partner organisations and funders to ensure the best outcomes for people living with acquired brain injury in Somerset.
