ACE (Action in Caerau & Ely), a charity located in Ely and Caerau, Cardiff, is currently seeking to recruit a CAER Centre Development Officer.

ACE is a community developed charity owned and run by the residents of Ely and Caerau in West Cardiff. It aims to bring the community together, support community groups, manage and develop local projects, and find ways of regenerating the local community.

Job Opportunity: CAER Centre Development Officer
o Project: Community Support
o Location: CAER Community Heritage Centre
o Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
o Salary: ACE Grade 3 – £28,676 per annum..
Length of Contract: 1 year (with a strong possibility of extension).
The CAER Centre Development Officer‘s role will be to develop a programme of activities that will be delivered at the CAER Community Heritage Centre, developing sustainability and new project funding streams, to integrate the CAER Community Heritage Centre and Cardiff University into ACE’s extensive community development programmes.
This role will support the Cardiff University Community Partnership Manager to build on opportunities to further integrate Cardiff University into the communities of Ely and Caerau.
This role is funded by Cardiff University initially for 1 year but with a strong possibility of an extension of up to 3 years in total.
