North Devon Council is currently seeking 2 permanent, full-time Project Officers to join its Economic Development and Regeneration team.

“We are currently seeking two permanent Project Officers to join the Economic Development and Regeneration team at North Devon Council.
“We are embarking on an ambitious programme of work within our Place, Property and Regeneration service, with many projects being led by the Economic Development team to drive forward the regeneration of our places. We want our Places to be spaces where people want to live, work and play and under the management of our Place managers you will help deliver projects to support this vision. You will work with partners, stakeholders, the public and members; both formally through our Regeneration boards and more informally through ongoing engagement to help develop this work and deliver on the ground.
“You will be educated to degree level or have experience in a related field. As a significant amount of your work will be project related, you will need to demonstrate good research, evaluation and report writing skills together with exemplary organisational skills.
“You will lead and support meetings and so will need to demonstrate your ability to both Chair and support meetings; both virtually and in person.
“You will need to identify and prepare funding bids, to include developing costings, formulating timing plans and supporting the writing of business plans and be able to demonstrate experience in this area.
“You will support the communication team in promoting the work of the service through social media, bulletins and press releases.”
