“The Writers’ Block is opening in the Old Redruth Library, and we need a Venue & Marketing Co-ordinator to help make it happen!
About Us
“The Writers’ Block is a unique creative writing centre where we champion the writer in everyone. Working with families, young people, schools, communities, harder to reach individuals and emerging adult writers and performers, The Writers’ Block instils confidence, enjoyment and skills in writing, and helps people to find their voice and their story. With a vision to become the Writing Centre for Cornwall, The Writers’ Block also has a key role in training new writers and creating opportunities for commissions and production.
About the role
“In April/May 2022 we are delighted to be designing, installing and opening our new venue in the Old Redruth Library on Clinton Road, Redruth. Alongside other core team members, this role will also be key in co-ordinating and publicising our programme.
“The role is 30 hours per week and will be permanent, but is subject to funding after the first year. Salary is £21,500 pro rata.
