Hubbub UK Ltd is offering 2 grants, each of £12,500, for projects in England, Scotland and Wales that will transform recycling in high footfall public spaces (application deadline: 1st March 2024)

Environmental charity Hubbub UK Ltd has announced that it is continuing to expand its #InTheLoop programme, with grant funding available for two new projects in England, Scotland and Wales to boost the opportunity to recycle on the go using the #InTheLoop toolkit.

Hubbub asserts that, with over fifteen #InTheLoop projects to date, it has found a solution to increasing recycling when people are out and about, and want to see more towns and cities follow its blueprint.

Hubbub is looking for two  ambitious projects that will transform recycling in high footfall public spaces.

Each successful project will receive an £12,500 grant to invest in, and boost, recycling facilities.

Grants can be used to support with the purchase of new recycling facilities, the improvement of old ones, as well as for the management, communication and evaluation of the campaign.

Projects will also receive ongoing light-touch support from Hubbub based on its expertise and experience in delivering recycling campaigns, as well as support from an external measurement partner and £1,000 to boost their campaign communications.

Although any organisation in England, Scotland or Wales may apply, it is expected that applications will mostly come from local authorities, business improvement districts, shopping centres, major property owners and transport hubs.

The deadline for applications is Friday 1st March 2024.
