Clarity CIC, a social enterprise based in the South West of England which enables social purpose organisations, including community groups, charities and social enterprises to be effective, sustainable and well-run, is running a series of FREE informal online events for directors of Community Interest Companies (CICs) in the South West who want time and space to think through how to develop and sustain their business, and who want an opportunity to share their experiences and learn from and support each other.
There are now around 24,000 CICs in the UK – and almost 3,000 of these are in the South West. And the number is growing all the time. Almost 7000 new CICs were registered last year and around 500-600 are registered every month.
As the CIC Regulator says in her latest annual report, CICs, now more than ever, are providing vital benefit to communities across the length and breadth of the UK.
There is something unique and very distinctive about CICs and Clarity CIC is providing some dedicated time to explore the challenges and opportunities with others who really get what CICs are about would be useful.
Directors of Community Interest Companies are invited to sign up for any or all of the following FREE online events. All sessions will take place from 11am to 12.30pm on Zoom.
