Grant programmes with application deadlines between Monday 5th February and Sunday 18th February 2024

This is a regular Friday website feature in which we list grant programmes with upcoming application deadlines over the next fortnight. If you click on the title of each grant scheme, it should take you directly to the grant programme in question. All funders and grant programmes included have featured in the daily grants bulletin we send out at 8.30 each weekday morning. THE D’OYLY CARTE CHARITABLE TRUST  
One-off revenue grants for projects and core costs up to £5,000 are available to UK registered charities working at a grassroots level in the areas of the arts, the environment and medical care.        

Wednesday 7 February 2024 at 1pm
THE UNIVERSAL UK SOUND FOUNDATION: THE SCHOOL FUND 
Grants of up to £1,500 are available to schools in the UK and Ireland that are teaching the national curriculum to support music education for young people in all its forms, specifically for school music projects and the purchase of instruments and equipment.

THE CONGEGATIONAL AND GENERAL CHARITABLE TRUST 
Capital grants from £1,000 to £25,000 are available for community initiatives that support the United Reformed Church and other churches in the Protestant tradition in the United Kingdom. Previously, the Trust has funded Food Banks, Breakfast Clubs and Youth Groups.

ELISE PILKINGTON CHARITABLE TRUST 
Capital grants, generally of between £2,500 and £15,000, are available to UK registered charities working in the equine sector or charities/hospices supporting older people.

NOEL BUXTON TRUST   
Grants, generally for up to £5,000, are available for registered charities in England, Scotland and Wales working to improve the welfare of families affected by domestic abuse, prisoners, ex-offenders and their families, as well as community-led organisations working to build sustainable livelihoods for local people in Africa, particularly in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan.

THE GOLSONCOTT FOUNDATION           
One-off grants of between £250 and £3,000 are available to UK registered charities and voluntary groups for activities that promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts generally and, in particular, the fine arts and music

THE SCREWFIX FOUNDATION (SPRING 2024 ROUND)      
Capital grants of up to £5,000 are available to local and national charities and not-for-profit organisations, including Community Interest Companies (CICs), across the UK to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for people in need.

THE STANLEY SMITH (UK) HORTICULTURAL TRUST (no website)
Grants averaging £3,250 are available to charities, charitable organisations and individuals in the UK to promote horticulture and horticulture education, conservation of the natural environment and making gardens accessible to the general public.

ENVIRONMENT AGENCY NATURAL ENVIRONMENT INVESTMENT READINESS FUND (NEINF) ROUND 3
Grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 are available to registered charities, statutory organisations, social enterprises (including Community Interest Companies) and businesses for projects in England that will improve and safeguard the natural environment by helping projects become investment ready.

LAWRENCE ATWELL’S CHARITY (THE SKINNERS’ COMPANY)        
Revenue grants up to £10,000 per-year for up to 3 years are available for registered charities and Community Interest Companies in England and Wales that are helping disadvantaged young people move into employment or become employment ready. Grants are also available for individuals.

MONEY SAVING EXPERT CHARITY: “LIVING WITH LONG-TERM CHALLENGES” THEMED ROUND
Grants up to £8,000 are available to not-for-profit organisations in the UK for projects that focus on building financial resilience and capability skills among people with long-term health challenges.
