This is a regular Friday website feature in which we list grant programmes with application deadlines over the next fortnight. If you click on the title of each grant scheme, it should take you directly to the grant programme in question. All funders and grant programmes included have featured in the daily grants bulletin we send out at 8.30 each weekday morning. SHOOSMITHS FOUNDATION      
Grants of between £25,000 and £50,000 are available to UK registered charities for initiatives that will advance a carbon net zero UK.

ALLAN AND NESTA FERGUSON LARGE GRANTS   
Large Grants over £50,000 are available to UK registered charities and universities that are working to promote education, international friendship and understanding, and world peace and development in the UK and/or overseas.

ASHWORTH CHARITABLE TRUST
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to UK registered charities with an annual turnover of under £1 million that are working in the UK and/or overseas on projects that address humanitarian causes.

BOOTS CHARITABLE TRUST         
Grants of up to £10,000 are available for UK registered charities (or up to £5,000 for voluntary groups not registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales or its equivalent in other parts of the UK) for projects in the fields of health, lifelong learning, community development and social care.

THE INMAN CHARITY     
Grants, generally between £2,000 and £5,000, are available to UK registered charities providing medical, social welfare or general welfare activities, particularly in the areas of support for the elderly, people with disabilities, medical research, hospices and the Armed Forces.

THE AUSTIN AND HOPE PILKINGTON TRUST (ROUND 1, 2024)            
The Trust has announced its funding priorities over 4 rounds in each of 2024 and 2025. Rounds 1 of 2024 will provide revenue grants of £1,000 to UK charities that are proving training and employment opportunities for people with a disability.

THE DELAMERE DAIRY FOUNDATION      
Grants of between £250 and £5,000 are available to registered charities and charitable organisations in England, Scotland and Wales working in the areas or agriculture, the environment, education, children and young people, financial hardship and the relief of sickness.

THE NATIONAL CHURCHES TRUST SMALL GRANTS PROGRAMME   
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for listed and unlisted Christian places of worship of any denomination across the UK for projects and initiatives that support interventions to investigate or address small problems before they turn into large, expensive repairs.

REWILDING BRITAIN: THE REWILDING INNOVATION FUND   
A small number of grants of up to £15,000 are available for projects in England, Scotland and Wales that remove barriers to rewilding projects. Projects that take an innovative approach to land and marine rewilding are particularly welcomed.       Thursday 29 February 2024

THE ASDA FOUNDATION COST-OF-LIVING GRANTS             
Grants of between £500 and £2,000 are available to local community organisations across the UK to cover core running costs, food for people struggling with the cost-of-living and Warm Banks, providing a comfortable place for people to go who are unable to heat their homes.

THE ASDA FOUNDATION EMPOWERING LOCAL COMMUNITIES GRANTS
Grants of between £500 and £1,500 are available to UK community groups and organisations for local projects that enable people to lead more active lives, improve mental health and wellbeing and bring people together for events that celebrate their community.

THE ASDA FOUNDATION UNDER-18s BETTER START GRANTS             
Grants of between £500 and £1,500 are available to local community organisations across the UK to support activities for children and young people aged 18 and under that will improve their lives and their community.

THE HENRY MOORE FOUNDATION
Generally, capital grants of up to £20,000 are available for the growth and development of sculpture across historical, modern and contemporary fields, and for research that expands the appreciation of sculpture.

Grants, normally for between £1,000 and £20,000, are available for UK arts-based organisations for activities and projects that support the promotion of the arts for public benefit.

KELLY FAMILY CHARITABLE TRUST           
Capital, revenue and core grants up to £5,000 are available to help establish recently formed UK registered charities that are working to nurture and support family life.

THE MARC FITCH TRUST
Small grants, usually for under £5,000, are available to UK registered charities and individuals for projects, publications and research that focuses on local and regional history across the United Kingdom.   

Friday 1st March 2024. Please note that the application form is only made available a week before the closing date.
THE POSTCODE LOCAL TRUST FOR THE WEST OF ENGLAND
Grants of between (a) £500 and£2,500, and (b) £500 to £25,000 are available to charitable organisations in the West of England (see map below) working in the areas of the arts, physical activity, biodiversity, environmental sustainability, green spaces, improving community access to outdoor space, mental health and wellbeing, the relief of poverty and support for marginalised groups.

FINNIS SCOTT FOUNDATION        
Capital and revenue grants up to £10,000 are available to UK registered charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations, Community Interest Companies, hospices and Parent Teacher Associations for projects in the areas of gardening and plant sciences, art history and fine art.

THE PRUDENCE TRUST “WHAT’S WORKING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE’S MENTAL HEALTH?” GRANT PROGRAMME   
Grants of between £10,000 and £200,000 per year for a period of up to 2 years are available to UK charities and Community Interest Companies that are supporting young people’s mental health so that they can improve their understanding of the impact their work is having.
