Global’s Make Some Noise has been raising funds for small, local charities since 2014.
In 2023, Make Some Noise provided grants to over 100 small charities in the UK that are making a lasting and tangible difference to their community.
Global’s 2024 programme prioritises grant-giving for small charities that are working to address one of our key outcome areas for achieving change in communities across the UK. Its current 4 key outcome areas are:
o Providing shelter and safety.
o Supporting physical and/or mental health.
o Developing life skills, and
o Reducing isolation or improving inclusion.
The types of things Global are most likely to fund include (please note that this is not an exclusive list):
o Staff salaries predominantly associated with direct delivery work.
o Any programme, sessional, service or project delivery costs.
o Equipment, technology, materials or refurbishment costs which are related to direct service delivery work (we cannot contribute to large build projects, fundraising or marketing costs), and
o A contribution to running costs/overheads (in contribution to a wider direct-delivery programme).
An Expression of Interest must be made by midday (12 noon) on Monday 21st October 2024.
