Wiltshire Council are looking for independent Counselling providers for referral to by Occupational Health and Fostering & Kinship teams.
The window for Expressions of Interest runs from 1st March 2023 to 5pm on Thursday 16th March 2023.
The estimated contract date is 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2027
Meanwhile, Cornwall Council has issued a new contract to provide Support for Children Affected by Parental Imprisonment. The contract is worth £62,000 over 2 years.
Support should be provided by appropriately trained workers who have a high level of understanding of the impact to children and young people of a parent in prison. As well as providing specialist 1:1 support using the agreed approach, the support may also include:
o Online activities for children
o Parent/carer support
o Setting up peer-support groups for children
o Establishing volunteer mentors, and
o Coordinating activity/family days where children and families supported in Cornwall can meet.
The Expression of Interest window is 2nd March 2023 to 23:59 on Wednesday 29th March 2023.
The estimated contract date is 24th April 2023 to 23rd April 2025.
