589 Arts and Cultural organisations across England to share grants totalling £76 million in Round 2 of the Culture Recovery Fund

This article follows on from our October 14 web item, which provided details of 1,300 Arts and Cultural organisations that will share grants totalling £257 million from the Culture Recovery Fund.

589 organisations in England that applied for grants of under £1 million in Round 2 of the Arts Culture Recovery Fund have just been informed of their awards by Arts Council England, which is distributing funding on behalf of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

A list of all successful applicants in Round 1 and Round 2 of the Culture Recovery Fund can be found on the Arts Council England website (click on the “Download Publication” link).

South West awards include:

o Barnfield Theatre, Exeter: £62,083.
o Bread and Roses Community Arts Hub: £120,084.
o Gloucester City Council Cultural Services: £100,000, and
o Lyme Arts Community Trust: £50,000

Over the coming weeks, Arts Council England will announce further Culture Recovery Fund awards, such as Grants over £1 million for both Rounds 1 and 2, and the Capital Kickstart and Repayable Finance programmes.
