The Rogue Landlords Enforcement Grant

The Rogue Landlords Enforcement Grant is a new £ 2 million grant scheme provided by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to encourage innovative approaches among local authorities in England to the enforcement of standards within the Private Rented Sector.

There are no minimum or maximum grant levels.

Funding is specifically  for projects that:

o Are innovative in the way they tackle enforcement challenges;
o Can demonstrate how they will achieve positive enforcement outcomes and, where available, have clear supporting evidence;
o Explain how outcomes will be measured and how the success of the project can be evaluated;
o Demonstrate clear deliverability, good value for money and are financially sustainable;
o Enable the local authority to self finance future enforcement activity; and
o Are able and willing to share their experiences and learning, both honestly and widely.

There is a short application window of Thursday 8 November to  Friday 30 November 2018.  Successful bids will be announced in early January 2019.
