Perfect vision for GRIN in 2020

Happy New Year everyone! Here’s some details of what we’ll be up to during 2020.

1. Increased capacity at GRIN

We’ll have more capacity at GRIN to support more not-for-profit organisations, projects and services this year through our funding prospect searches, bid writing support and help to make your organisation more financially robust and sustainable. If you’d like to discuss a piece of work, contact us at info@grin.coop. Our pro-bono work will be taking more of a back seat during 2020 as our focus will be on commissioned work.

2. Daily Grants Bulletin

The daily GRIN Grants Bulletins are back from today and will continue through to Friday 18 December 2020, with the exception of weekends and bank holidays, and of course our annual break at Christmas.

This year subscribers can expect around 200 bulletins containing details of approximately 600 grant programmes, associated resources and job vacancies. In addition, we’ll also be publishing a daily article on this website.

Throughout 2020, each daily grant bulletins will feature details of two national grant schemes and one local grant programme, which will be based on areas in which subscribers are located. If you’d like us to feature a grant provider local to you, just send your postcode to info@grin.coop and we’ll see what we can do.

3. Grants and Resources Databases

Our monthly Grants Databases will continue their circulation on Monday 3 February. We had originally intended to send a brief, interim update out to database subscribers on 6 January, but there really wasn’t a great deal to update. As a result, we’ve decided to defer the first update of 2020 to the start of February. If you’re interested in finding out more about the databases, email us at info@grin.coop or have a look at our website page

4. Sharing information

If you have any news, training programmes, job opportunities or just want to share information with other organisations, email us the relevant details (again to info@grin.coop). The reach of the daily bulletins is over 1,000 not-for-profit organisations and individuals daily, mainly throughout the South West but also extending to other parts of the UK as well as a handful of subscribers in mainland Europe, so it’s a great way of reaching a wide, like-minded audience quickly and easily.

5. Monthly blogs by Clarity CIC and Emma Beeston Consultancy

We’re delighted to confirm that Clarity CIC and Emma Beeston will be continuing to provide their excellent and thought provoking monthly blogs throughout the year. If you’re a would-be blogger, we have space for at least one more regular (or occasional!) blog. If you’re interested in having articles posted that relate to the world of grant funding, please get in touch.

We hope you all have a healthy, happy and successful 2020!
