Marks and Spencer Community Energy Fund open to applications (deadline 7 October) has  teamed up with Marks & Spencer Energy to give away £10,000 to two UK community projects looking to bring the benefits of renewables and energy efficiency measures to their communities.

Please note that the application deadline for this scheme is next Monday, 7 October 2019. If you know of any relevant organisations that may be interested in applying, please forward details.

Any not for profit organisation that wants to use renewable energy to provide community benefits may apply, whether a community energy group, sports club, library, amateur dramatic society, village hall or school.

There’s two grants of £5,000 available for:

1. The project which receives the most supporters, and
2. The project which raises the most money.

The entry form is hosted on Crowdfunder until midday on Monday 7th October and the eligibility criteria can be found at this LINK.
