o Contract type: Permanent
o Hours: 22.5 hrs (3 days per week)
o Salary: £28,000 (£16,800 pro rata)
o Deadline: 11:59PM – 1st January 2021
The advertisement for this post reads:
“If you are someone who loves a bit of organising and process, planning and sorting things out then you’ve come to the right place. We need someone who will act in a central role supporting us to convert ideas into action. You will need to enjoy a fast paced working environment able to manage conflicting demands on your time with patience and grace. You will also need to LOVE digital technology; Excel will be a breeze, Salesforce might be an unknown but you will have no trouble getting to grips with it.
“Our team is amazing. We work together with a clear set of shared values. Recently an external review of the POP team observed that we “work in a high trust and mutually supportive environment with a good understanding of their roles and their shared responsibilities. The structure is not overly formal and this complements the supportive and empowering culture.” It is of vital importance we keep this culture growing and thriving.
“This role will lead on the more technical side of POP. This will include overseeing the standard operating processes and emergent processes like our funding processes. It will ensure we keep up to date with any legal changes and maximise the way we use our data and intelligence – financial, stakeholders, surveys, funding etc..”
The Plymouth Octopus Project aims to build strong grassroots organisations, charities and social enterprises in Plymouth by supporting them to work together and take a lead role in creating change.
Further information about the post, together with a Person Specification and application form, can be found on the POP website.
The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Friday 1 January 2021.
