The advertisement reads:
“PROJECT AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT REQUIRED
Flexible Part-Time Self-Employed Role
Are you organised, flexible and enjoy a challenge? Have you got experience of being part of a small organisation and enjoy taking the initiative? If so, we could have just the role you’re looking for…
Clarity is a Community Interest Company providing advice, support and consultancy to voluntary and community organisations across the South West.
We need someone with experience in office and project management and administration to support our two Directors. This includes maintaining our information, reporting, contract management and financial administration systems. Our ideal person will have an understanding of the charity and voluntary sector; excellent IT skills; be confident with all Microsoft applications (including the 365 platform) and have experience in financial administration. Expertise in using WordPress, Mailchimp and Survey Monkey would also be an advantage.
Ideally we want someone who can be engaged on a self-employed basis. Initially we require the equivalent of approximately 5 hours per week with the potential for this to be increased. There is a high degree of flexibility about how your time is managed across the day and week, and through the year. Although you will be a key member of our small team, you will need to be able to work on your own initiative.
You will be expected to work from home and have appropriate IT hardware and a good broadband connection in place. You will need to be able to drive and have use of a car. You will need to be based in Devon (or willing to travel in your own time) in order to be able to meet up with Directors as required.
We will pay £12 to £15/hr depending on experience. We are committed to the personal and skills development of our team, and as such there will be opportunities for this.
If you would like to apply please email your CV and a short covering letter explaining why you meet our requirements to Sarah Taragon at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Friday 18th October.
If you would like an informal conversation about the role and Clarity’s work do call Stephen Woollett (01803 732668; 07870 587713) or Sarah Taragon (01363 860151).
