Home Based
Salary: £21,600 – £24,000 a year – part-time
Hours: 24 hours per week – Flexible working available.
Status: Freelance/ Self-employed
Location: Home-based
Contract: 1 Year initially (subject to 6 month review)

Linking Lives, a UK charity that aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness, with a particular focus on older people, is currently advertising for a home-based fundraiser.

The job advertisement reads:

“Would you like to work in an innovative national charity which aims to combat social isolation and loneliness among older people?

“Do you have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of securing grants from grant-making trusts?

“This is a great opportunity for an experienced Trust Fundraiser with a proven track record to join our team!

“Linking Lives UK exists to reduce social isolation and loneliness, with a particular focus on older people. Working in partnership with churches and Christian organisations we are setting up befriending projects right across the UK, bringing people together, because we believe no one should feel alone.

“We are looking for someone who will build on existing relationships with grant and trusts organisations and identify and approach new organisations to meet annual financial targets. You will be able to compile and submit compelling applications for funding with accuracy and implement robust procedures to ensure we meet the funders formal reporting requirements.”
