Job Vacancy: Drop-In Manager/Volunteer Coordinator sought by Dorset homelessness charity, Routes to Roots

Dorset-based homelessness charity, Routes to Roots (R2R) is currently advertising the following job opportunity:

Part-time Drop-in Manager – Routes to Roots

o Location: Poole Town Centre.
o Drop-in hours: Monday-Friday, 12noon-2.00pm.
o 18 hours/week at £10/hour.

Routes to Roots (R2R) supports rough sleepers, vulnerably housed (sofa surfers or in B&Bs) and newly housed (formerly homeless) adults in Poole, Dorset. 

The charity started working with rough sleepers in 2000, became a registered charity in 2002 and a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in 2014.

Today Routes to Roots has around 80 volunteers, 2 part-time staff and 5 Trustees.

Passion, enthusiasm and self-motivation: these are the qualities Routes to Roots is looking for in its new Drop-in Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator.

The charity is looking for someone who wants to see the lives of the most vulnerable in Poole change for the good.
