“Creativity and Wellbeing Coordinator, Spark Somerset
“We’re looking for a confident, motivated self-starter with significant funding experience, who understands the value of social prescribing and community-based support to help people’s health & wellbeing.
“Spark Somerset, TAKE ART, SOMERSET WILDLIFE TRUST and other local partners have secured funding from the THRIVING COMMUNITIES FUND to deliver an innovative project aimed at improving and increasing the range and reach of existing social prescribing community activities – especially for people most impacted by COVID-19 and health inequalities.
“The ideal candidate will be a confident problem solver, with demonstrable fundraising knowledge and experience of project management. The post will primarily focus on quickly developing a new partnership of organisations from a wide range of sectors – the arts, creativity and culture, sport, nature, financial wellbeing, community advice, and the wider VCSE sector – and explore ways to make the resourcing of social prescribing activities more sustainable over time.
“£25k pa pro rata. Part time post, 24 hours a week, 12-month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity. Flexible home-based role.
