North Devon charity, the Steamship Freshspring Trust, is currently seeking to recruit to the two positions detailed below. The Steamship Freshspring Trust is a registered charity (no. 1151907) based in Bideford, North Devon. Its aim is to return the heritage steamship Freshspring to operation with the mission to preserve the past and inspire knowledge for the future.
The Trust is recruiting for two temporary vacancies:
1. Public Engagement Officer to welcome visitors on board, assist with our Virtual Reality Tours and promote the unique heritage significance of SS Freshspring through a variety of social media channels, events and partnerships.
2. Community Learning Officer to grow Freshspring’s Education Programme throughout North Devon, developing and delivering a range of learning experiences on and off the ship.
Both posts are initially offered on a part time temporary basis (3 days a week for a period of 3 months), with contract extensions subject to funding.
