"We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager to work on behalf of the RDPE ‘Making It Local’ and ‘REAL Devon’ Local Action Groups (LAGs) to bring maximum benefit to businesses and communities across the programme areas.

The role will ensure effective management, delivery and evaluation of the existing LEADER Programmes totalling approximately £3 million until the end of the programme in December 2019 (possibility of extention until March 2020).

This exciting position will manage the facilitation of investment take up by local businesses and communities and maximise the potential benefits by: linking local, regional, national and European projects, encouraging broadening of proposals and collaboration where appropriate; and linking LAG funded activities to broader RDPE and Growth funding.

You will have a proven track record of managing EU funding programmes and delegated grant schemes and experience of bringing together a wide cross-section of the rural community into a cohesive partnership, along with excellent communication and financial management skills.

The Making It Local programme is currently number one in the country for delivery and there is the potential to build on this by drawing down additional funding.

The post is initially two-year fixed term or until December 2019 with the potential to extend subject to funding."
