Arts Council England launches new, confidential Self Evaluation Toolkit

Jun 16, 2017

Self evaluation is a vital first step towards improving an organisation's work.  It can also help with self confidence and resilience.

The Arts Council has developed a confidential Self Evaluation toolkit for people, companies and partnerships in the arts, cultural and creative sectors.

The toolkit has 24 questions with links to help organisations improve their work. The toolkit can be used individually or as a team.

When you've completed the questions, you can generate a report on one evaluation or comparing several.

You will be asked to assess your performance and how important the issue is at this point in time and you can also add notes. Taken together these measures show where you are currently performing well, and where your priorities for improvement are.

Each evaluation is private. While the Arts Council will know how many people use the tool, we can't view the details of the evaluation itself.
